For this honors experience, I reconnected with my love of music and playing piano.  For this experience, I played piano for my sister’s wedding.  This involved choosing several pieces, learning them, and then playing on the day of the wedding. In addition to this, while I was learning the pieces, I did research on them, including learning the background of the composers, when and why they composed the pieces, and how they became popular wedding pieces.  Learning this background was helpful to learn how the composer was planning for the pieces to be played. To showcase this experience, I have attached recordings of some of the pieces I played for the wedding.
